Solar For Residential

Are you interested in solar power as an alternative source of energy? Going solar can eliminate or significantly reduce your electric bill saving you 10’s of thousands of dollars over the life of the system. With the cost of energy rising so rapidly, there is no better way to fight inflation than producing your own electricity.

We at Everything Solar will evaluate a range of products to determine the best solution for you, whether that be an on-grid, off-grid or hybrid solar system.

Cost Savings

With the current net metering laws that are in place it is common to see 40% to 60% reduction in utility bills when adding a solar and battery system to a home. Net metering is a billing mechanism that credits solar energy system owners for the electricity they add to the grid. For example, if a residential customer has a PV it may generate more electricity than the home uses during daylight hours. The utility then credits the your account for this exported energy, which can be used to offset electricity bills in the future, especially during periods of lower solar production like winter. This investment can save you 10’s of thousands of dollars over the life of the system.

The Investment Tax Credit (ITC) is currently set at 30% of the system cost. Additionally systems that are installed within areas defined as an "Energy Community" qualify for an additional tax credit equal to 10% of the system cost. Click Here to see if your area qualifies for this extra credit.

Emergency Power

When the grid goes down—whether due to storms, wildfires, or rolling blackouts—having solar panels combined with a battery backup system and/or a generator ensures your home stays powered when it matters most.

During an outage your home automatically switches to battery power, keeping lights, refrigerators, medical devices, Wi-Fi, and other essentials running—quietly and without fuel. Add a generator and when your batteries get low the generator kicks in to sustain for long term outages. With solar, battery, and generator options, you’re never left in the dark.

Energy Independence

Energy independence generally refers to one's ability to produce all or a substantial portion of their energy needs within their own area, minimizing reliance on external energy sources. Solar energy empowers homeowners to break free from rising utility rates and reliance on the power grid. By generating your own electricity, you reduce your dependence on traditional energy providers and gain control over your energy future. Installing solar gives you the power to produce, store, and manage your own energy. Whether you’re looking for savings, reliability, or sustainability, going solar is a smart step toward true energy independence.
